CETPA Regional Groups provide a great way for CETPA Educational Members to find mutual support and deeper engagement with other educational technologists in their local area. We encourage regional group attendees to support CETPA and gain member benefits with their paid membership in the CETPA organization. However, membership in the CETPA organization is not required. Regional group membership requires only that you work for a California public or private school organization and that you show up for the meetings. And, you can easily join a CETPA Regional Group listserv with your e-mail address from a California public or private school organization.
Meetings are hosted four to six times per year by rotation among the membership and are led by volunteer educational technologists like you. Typical meetings include a mid-morning round table discussion, followed by a lunch and learn session or other special event, often featuring CETPA Affiliate Members and other vendors selected by the regional group members.
Get Involved You're guaranteed to have a good time, make some great friends, get some support and learn about the latest challenges and solutions facing educational technologists in your area and beyond. If you don't have a CETPA Regional Group in your area, consider working with your neighboring districts and COE to start one! Check out the Guidelines page for more information.
